We’ve recently completed a logo re-design to promote fundraising for South London hospitals Guy’s and St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital and South London and Maudsley.
We worked with their existing fundraising brand which was very different from the NHS branding but it wasn’t clear enough what they were asking people to do. They didn’t have a very strong logo and weren’t always applying the brand as consistently as they could.
We started by re-designing a set of logos which focus on communicating the most important message, they need your ‘Support’. We then updated and strengthened the brand guidelines to make the colours as strong and arresting as possible and added a handwritten font to give us more flexibility when designing materials.
Evelina London Children’s Hospital are delighted with the new display within the hospital which has just been finished which brightens up an area of the hospital.
Alongside this, staff and patients got ‘Colourful at Kings’ recently to raise money for the hospital. It was the first time we’d seen the new logo and materials we designed in full use and I hope you’ll agree that they look great!
