Who are we?Hi, I’m JoJo Grubb photo, smiling

I’m a Brand Strategist and Graphic Designer who works with charities and purpose-led organisations ‬to help them communicate vital messages well‭.‬

I’ve worked in the Third Sector since 2005 when I worked at RNID‭ ‬as Design Manager and then Brand Manager‭. Seven years later I moved back to Cheshire and set up JG Creative Communications‭, ‬an award-winning design and branding agency‭, ‬for 11‭ ‬years‭. ‬We specialised in working with charities on rebrand projects‭, ‬websites‭, ‬signage and‭ ‬‘business as usual’‭ ‬design‭, ‬usually on a retainer basis‭.

I work in a collaboration model now, as a consultant supporting organisations on one-off and long-term projects‭. ‬I have an excellent network and curate teams of trusted collaborators for each project‭. ‬This flexible approach keeps my overheads low and enables me to offer real value‭ ‬for money in these challenging times‭.‬

I’m passionate about ensuring that a charity’s name, logo, look and feel, website and materials all effectively communicate what you do, who you are and why you’re needed. All work produced is bespoke, designed to promote you and engage with your audience.

I’m very lucky with my amazing group of clients, who include Missio‭, ‬The Royal College of Midwives‭, ‬The Bible Society‭, ‬National Council of Women and Disability Positive. You can see examples of my work in the portfolio and read some lovely testimonials from my clients too.

I passionate about the sector‭. ‬I’m a trustee for a local charity and have run a free‭ ‬Charity Marketing Peer support group ‬online for the last six years to support nearly 500‭ ‬charity marketers‭.‬

There isn’t much I haven’t seen before and I am valued by all my clients‭, ‬both CEOs and Marketing Managers‭, ‬who often ask my advice or want to chat through issues and appreciate my creative thinking‭!

Contact me if you want to meet up. I love really good coffee and a good chat!
