Here’s a rundown of what some local charities are doing this Christmas, and how you can help.
We are supporting The Wingate Centre Christmas Raffle by selling tickets and being one of their designated ‘Drop Off’ points for stubs and proceeds! There are fantastic prizes on offer, including all you need for Christmas lunch, and tickets are just £1 each.
The Wingate Centre is the largest holiday centre for disabled children in the UK, providing life-enriching holidays.
Their big draw is on Saturday 9th December so get your tickets quick! Drop off stubs and proceeds to us – see the contact us page to find out how.
In the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas 2017 the foodbank will provide over 200 Christmas food parcels (on top of “crisis” parcels) for local individuals and families in crisis. Please consider donating an item from their list www.nantwich.foodbank.org.uk/
We are collecting in the office so you can drop donations to us or at one of their collection points on their website.
The Donna Louise Trust
We’ve been busy printing out posters to put around our business park to promote The Donna Louise Trust Christmas jumper day on Friday 8th December!
The Donna Louise is belly laughs and best friends, it’s light in the darkest hour, it’s glitter and sparkle, Xbox and drums, it’s real understanding – it’s so much more than you think. Whatever their children, young people or families need, The Donna Louise is there. Wherever, whenever, always.
If you want to take part too, you can download a fundraising pack here
If you’re a local charity who wants us to promote your Christmas appeal, contact Jo and we will add it to this page and give you a mention on the Charities Today radio show on Redshift Radio!
