Bible Society ‘Digital Nations’ Research Report

I was genuinely thrilled to work with the Bible Society to design their Digital Nations Report. They’ve been at the top of my ‘Charities I’d love to work with’ list since I did their Bible Course and it was amplified after their rebrand.

This piece of research will really open up the conversation about Digital Mission and taking the bible to people where they are, even online. It was eye-opening to find out that 5.3 billion of us are spending on average 6 hours and 38 minutes online per day.

This report had the challenge of being text-heavy and full of charts with no relevant photography available. The client was open to the idea of flags for all of the Digital Nations, which I created, along with the cover image which references the flags outside of the United Nations.

Toby Beresford, Director of Content and Digital Strategy at the Bible Society, who authored this report, was kind enough to say “Joanne was a delight to work with on the Digital Nations report she went above beyond to bring our content to visual life. I particularly valued the way she made it natural and frictionless to work with multiple stakeholders across our team.”
